UKARA MULTIVERSE

Ukara Multiverse is an ongoing exploration of color and pattern that draws from science fiction abstractions and traditional Igbo Ukara cloth. The patterns of traditional Ukara cloths feature an old pictographic language known as Nsibidi which dates back to 400AD and is local to southeastern Nigeria.

This piece was installed in the Broadridge Philly Apartments as part of an interior mural walk featuring a variety of artists.
